Year 3 enjoyed a trip to Norwich Cathedral today.
We were so proud of how ready, safe and respectful they were.
They learnt all about what advent is and journeyed through the nativity.

Years 2, 3, 4 and 5 enjoyed a musical performance assembly from Norwich School today.
They were able to hear different instruments and think about how it made them feel.
Thank you to Norwich School for providing our pupils with this opportunity.

Our Year 6 pupils led a wonderful Remembrance assembly today featuring songs, artwork and poetry. We were joined by Mr Fraser and Mr Honour, who also shared insights about their medals from military service.

Year 1 really enjoyed their trip to Stranger’s Hall. They played with toys, sorted toys and even made their own toy!

Each year, the Year 3 cohort are fortunate to be presented with dictionaries from the Rotary Club.
Today, the children were presented with theirs and had time to explore them in class with their friends.
We can’t wait to see how they will be used to support their learning both in school and at home- thank you!

Year 6 participated in some great workshops in support of their upcoming move to high school. Our visitors were very impressed by their contributions and maturity.

Year 3 had a fantastic time at Whitlingham Adventure.
They tried paddle boarding and canoeing and also completed many different team challenges.
The children showed great grit and determination throughout the day and all were safe, ready and respectful. Well done Year 3!

Year 4 had a fabulous day at the Royal Norfolk Show today. They all began in the Discovery Zone, learning about the production of sugar beet in Norfolk, from preparing the soil all the way to what the sugar is used for. They were challenged to build the tallest possible tower of sugar cubes!

The children also enjoyed exploring many of the other attractions, collecting stickers and seeing how many freebies they could gather!

The highlight of the day for many was seeing the RAF Falcons parachuting display over the Grand Ring!

Year 1 had a visit from the Garlic Theatre Company for a production of Jack and the Bean’s Talk. The children also got the opportunity to see the puppets and find out how it all works. They were incredibly inspired and we can’t wait to see how amazing their own stories are when they write them in a few weeks.
Children from school council were given the opportunity to taste a variety of food items and give their opinions on them. This was to help Nikki and the kitchen team think about developing the lunch menu going forward.

A great time was had by all and the feedback given by the children was invaluable. Favourites included a chicken burger, gammon steak and a new curry recipe!
