Last week we had a mysterious glittery shoe turn up in Reception with the name Cinderella written inside! The children made lost and found posters around the school to search for the owner of the shoe, asked grown ups in school for their shoe size and did lots of princess themed activities. At the end of the week Cinderella surprised the children and they were very excited to return her shoe!
Writing club have started writing their stories. Over the past few weeks they have created characters, developed settings, planned out their story and now it’s time to write. It’s been wonderful to see their creative ideas. We can’t wait to read them!
Year 1 has got off to a great start for Summer term with their writing. We have been looking at attractions in Norfolk and the features of posters. Children then created their own posters based on some of Norfolk’s attractions.
Split into two parts, read through the Easter Story and complete one of the accompanying tasks.
Poetry challenge
Write a poem where each line starts with a letter from your first name (an acrostic). It can be about anything, but it should not be about you or your name.

Look forward to hugging friends
Laugh and play together.
