Hello Nursery! Here is this week’s home learning. We will read the story ‘The Gingerbread Man.’ We will explore the words ‘character,’ ‘setting’ and ‘problem’ and we will help the Gingerbread Man to share his buttons with his friend Benny Biscuit.

Here is the reception overview for this weeks home learning. This week we are looking at the story ‘I will not ever never eat a tomato’ and talking about healthy eating. We also explore some rhyme words, through stories and go on a hunt for rhyming objects at home. We can’t wait to see some of your learning!

Merry Christmas from the Staff
A very merry Christmas from all at Queen’s Hill Primary! Thank you to everyone in our school community for their support this year.
Cooking in Year 6
Year 6 have been busy preparing their Christmas treats…. we are all looking forward to treating our grown-ups on Thursday.
Year 6 Floating their Boats!
Year 6 have been learning about forces – we have been investigating air and water resistance. Today we had great fun testing our designs! Lily just pipped Luigi to the post with her light, streamlined design. Many of our boats needed modifications but it was a fantastic learning experience.
