Don’t forget to read at least 4 times a week for your ‘Read for a Star’ stamp. Try to read as often as you can – once a day would be a fantastic way to pass the time AND broaden your vocabulary!
Did you know that listening to an audiobook counts too? Why not try Audible (from Amazon) which is currently FREE to use! https://stories.audible.com/discovery 🙂
Don’t forget to log into your Facebook account every morning and join in with the online phonics lessons taking place. https://www.purplemash.com/sch/queenshill

We are a collection point for @norwichfoodbank from Tuesday morning.
We will have crates in Kestrel Avenue car park from 7.30am-6pm. PLEASE DO NOT COME INTO THE SCHOOL BUILDING. They are most in need of: long life fruit juice, long life milk, tinned vegetables and tinned meat. They are very well stocked with baked beans, cereal, pasta, soup and sanitary products.
They also are grateful for any and all financial donations; details of how to give can be found on their website –Â www.norwichfoodbank.co.uk

We love reading stories at Queen’s Hill! Watch the latest videos of our staff sharing their favourite book.
Look at these happy faces and amazing terrariums that year 5 pupils have made

This week we created an Antarctic scene using tissue paper, cotton wool, paint and coloured card. We really enjoyed making a step-by-step penguin with googly eyes.

Danger-Us club have really enjoyed their wood-working sessions over the past few weeks. Some of us made bird boxes, others drumming blocks and even storage for our electrical devices at home! We look forward to using our skills again soon!

Year 2 enjoyed learning about the Maasai tribe today as part of our topic today. We made our own inspired necklaces!
