Home Learning
In Years 5 and 6 this half-term the children’s Home Learning will be set on Purple Mash. The children’s work is set under the ‘2 Do’ tab on a Friday and must be electronically handed in via Purple Mash by Thursday at the latest. Your child’s username and password for Purple Mash can be found in the inside cover of their school diary. The library is open at lunchtimes for the children to use the school computers and tablets should they need for their Home Learning. Alternatively, these resources are also accessible at the schools’ Homework Club.

Throughout everything we do in school, the children will be taught and encouraged to;
- develop their self-knowledge, self-esteem and self-confidence.
- respect others.
- accept responsibility for their behaviour, show initiative, and to understand how they can contribute positively to the lives of those living and working in the locality of the school and to society more widely.
- acquire a broad general knowledge of how to conduct themselves and show respect in various public places e.g. how to behave in church.
- distinguish right from wrong and to respect the law of England.
- be tolerant of differences between various cultural traditions by enabling students to acquire an appreciation of and respect for their own and other cultures.
- appreciate that other people may have different views from your own and have some understanding of a democratic process.
