Year 5 Maths Investigation
Year 5 completed the whole school maths investigation today. They explored how different many ways they were able to make a symmetrical Incan necklace, using 9 beads of only 2 colours.
Year 5 Maths
Year 5 have enjoyed learning about perimeter and area. They even got to go outside to explore the skill!
Year 2 Snettisham Trip
Year 2 had a brilliant time on their trip to Snettisham Park this half term. They had a busy day filled with lots of great activities. They went on a deer safari, they collected eggs, groomed horses and fed goats and lambs!
Year 1 Maths – Measure
Children in year 1 have been exploring measure this half term. They compared length and height, before measuring with cubes. They then measured in centimetres, carefully using a ruler. Year 5 Art
Year 5 have designed and created their own Greek pots out of clay this term. Today, they were able to paint their intricate designs on and begin to evaluate their work.
Year 4 – Art
This week, Year 4 were inspired by the work of Gillian McFarland to create their own unique artwork. The children began by drawing abstract designs onto cartridge paper, before carefully using sharp pencils and drawing pins to punch holes at regular intervals.
