Year 4 are really enjoying their instrumental lessons as part of their music curriculum. This week they were able to learn the note ‘B’ and even play along to a simple song. Miss Peek was very proud to pop in and hear Mrs Stevenson’s class progress.

Year 4 Christmas Art

This week, Year 4 have enjoyed getting into the Christmas spirit by creating their own Northern Lights artwork. They used chalks to create the colourful light display in the sky and the snow beneath. Finally, they added splashes of white paint to create the effect of snow. We think they all look stunning!

Year 4 Roman Catapults

Making Musicians!

Some KS2 pupils went with Miss Peek and Miss Forrest to Norwich Cathedral for a music recital this afternoon. They were able to enjoy a short concert featuring piano, french horn and violin. The children heard a range of music and were even able to ask questions. Thank you to Norwich School for hosting.

KS2 Music

13th November 2023

A big thanks to Norwich High School for visiting KS2 music assembly today. The children participated in a singing workshop before listening to a flute, French horn, clarinet, piano, saxophone, vocal and African percussion recital. Everyone loved hearing the range of instruments. Thank you!

Year 4 Music

18th October 2023

Year 4 enjoyed using the boom whackers to learn different songs. They even got to perform in KS2 celebration assembly. They were able to think about different notes and dynamics.

Year 4 Times Tables Café

This morning, Year 4 were joined by some of their grown-ups for a times tables café. They had juice and pastries and had lots of fun practising their times tables through games and activities. Thank you to all who joined us!
