Year 4 Roman Day
Year 4 had a fantastic Roman day with Centurion Titus. They completed a Roman soldier Boot Camp, created mosaics and practised using Roman numerals. We look forward to learning more about the Romans in our history topic for the rest of this term.
Year 4 – Jabberwocky Art
Year 4 have been completing art work in response to the poem “The Jabberwocky” by Lewis Carroll. They used charcoal, graphite, pencil and water colours. Our finished final pieces are displayed in the corridor and the classrooms.
Polling Day: School Council
Today, classes visited polling stations 🗳️ to elect their new school council members. we have been learning all about democracy and fairness. Well done to our new school council members for 24/25! 🎉

Y4 Royal Norfolk Show
Year 4 had a fabulous day at the Royal Norfolk Show today. They all began in the Discovery Zone, learning about the production of sugar beet in Norfolk, from preparing the soil all the way to what the sugar is used for. Y4 Geography
As part of our continuing geography topic looking at our local area, Year 4 went on a walking tour of Queen’s Hill this afternoon to assess whether the quality of the environment improved the closer they got to the woodland area. They rated 8 different streets on their appearance, safety, cleanliness and proximity to amenities.
Y4 String Telephones
Year 4 explored how to make the best string telephone by testing different sizes of cups to see which gave the clearest sound. We also investigated the possibility of ‘eavesdropping’ into others’ conversations.
Year 4 Litter Pick
Year 4 considered both the positive and the negative impact that humans can have on the environment. Music Trip
Some children enjoyed a music recital at Norwich Cathedral this afternoon. They enjoyed hearing the piano, a cello and a vocalist. They represented our school well and we are very proud of them.
