These posts would suit NQTs or teachers at the start of their career.

We have an exciting opportunity for two passionate and outstanding teachers to join our Queen’s Hill family.

Ideally you will have proven experience in teaching Year 5 or 6 pupils and be interested in promoting outdoor learning, languages, English and IT. You will have a thorough understanding of SEN and have a firm yet positive approach to behaviour management. Additionally, you may also have an interest in DT or humanities.

We are a supportive and caring team and nurture our teachers to be the best. Many of our staff, including those who started as NQTs, have gone on to leadership roles within the school and beyond. We have a great programme of CPD and encourage our staff to take risks to ensure the learning experiences for our children are exciting and meaningful.

In our school we have a “can do” attitude. We expect you to work hard and be committed to being part of the wider life of the school. In return you will feel part of a team of professionals who truly want to, and do, make a difference.

We have some great resources and facilities – a cookery room, two libraries, a dance studio and school dogs. We are embracing the mastery approach to learning across the curriculum and are keen to further develop sport, the arts and languages. Take a look at our website and see if our passion for learning matches yours. If it does, please ensure you explain in your letter of application why you think you would be an asset to our school.

Although you can’t visit us at the moment, if you would like to chat to one of our teachers about what it is like to work at QH, we can organise a group zoom call.

Closing date:                  12 noon on Thursday 1st April 2021
Interview date:                   to be confirmed

Please note that if you have not heard by 30th April 2021 then you have not been successful on this occasion. We regret that we cannot offer individual feedback to those who are not called for interview.
