Assistant Head Teacher Vacancy x 2

We have an excellent opportunity for you to take on a senior leadership role within our school – you will be an experienced and outstanding teacher ready to take on the role of assistant head teacher on your journey to headship. Following our current Deputy moving to work with the Local Authority, we have restructured our leadership team to further drive forward improvements. One AHT will be responsible for Behaviours for Learning, the other for Curriculum Development. The roles will both initially be likely to be 0.5fte class based.

State on your application which role you are interested in if you have a preference. We anticipate the roles would rotate every two or so years to allow you to gain the breadth needed to go on to headship.

You will have:

  • passion, enthusiasm, energy and positivity

  • the ability to reflect on your practice and that of others, focussing on the needs of each cohort to ensure that every child makes at least good progress

  • experience of being a successful leader
